How much does an ESA letter cost here?
An ESA letter for housing is $149. An ESA and psychiatric service dog letter together, including both consultations, is $199. A psychiatric service dog letter with its consultation on its own is $99. Those are the full prices, and landlord verification support is included in each.
How fast can I get my ESA letter?
Same-day evaluations are often available, and your signed PDF arrives within 24 to 48 hours of the consultation. We do not promise five-minute approvals, because a real evaluation cannot happen that fast. California and a few other states (Arkansas, Iowa, Louisiana and Montana) are the exception: state law requires a 30-day clinician relationship first, and we tell you before you pay.
Do I qualify for an emotional support animal letter?
You may qualify if you have a mental or emotional condition that substantially affects a major life activity, and your animal helps ease its effects. Only the licensed clinician you meet with can make that determination. The free screening gives you an honest read before anyone takes payment.
Will my landlord accept this letter?
The letter is written to meet what housing providers can lawfully request under the Fair Housing Act: confirmation from a licensed professional that you have a disability-related need for the animal, on letterhead with verifiable license details. If your landlord has questions, your clinician responds directly. If your housing provider still refuses the letter, contact us within 30 days with the written denial and you get a full refund.
Is an online ESA letter legitimate?
It is legitimate when a licensed clinician in your state actually evaluates you before writing it. Telehealth is an accepted way to do that. What is not legitimate is a form purchase with no consultation, or a registration or ID card sold as a legal requirement, because no ESA registry exists.
Can I use an ESA letter to fly with my animal?
No. US airlines stopped recognizing emotional support animals for cabin travel in 2021. Any provider still marketing ESA letters for flights is selling something that will not work. Our letters are for housing.
What if I am not approved?
If the clinician determines after your assessment that you do not meet the clinical criteria, the assessment and letter fee is refunded in full. Refund requests must be made within 7 days of that notification, and the clinician's clinical determination is final.
